Wresting with a huge decision is not only one of the most important choices you will hake in your life, it's also struggling with the way we were taught to approach such dilemmas. Make a list of pros and cons. Meditate on it. Pray on it (if that's your thing). But none of these really tell us what's best for us as individuals and in the end, we all go on instinct I think. A gut feeling. A very non-reasonable way to make a decision that maybe should be approached with pure logic. Struggling with this myself right now has led me to believe that there is a much more difficult thing in life than holding on... it's learning to let go. A cliche' because it's true, but you only understand the meaning of it when you experience that place on your own. So how do we let go? There's no manual, nothing taught to us in school, but I must find a way to let go of things so that I can move on with my life, continue to do the only thing we can... move forward, embrace change, for it is the only constant.
